Meet the Forest Friends

Fox.png

Meet Fox

Fox is the friend with a plan. His curiosity makes him want to go on adventures, learn new words, and investigate the world around him. He loves to help his friends.

But don’t be fooled by his inquisitive and witty demeanor, there’s a lot of feelings bubbling under the surface. He feels a responsibility to his friends and takes his job very seriously.

When he’s not hanging out with his friends or going on adventures, he spends his time learning new words from the dictionary and listening to his favorite band, Weezer (pre-Pinkerton, of course).

Bear.png

Meet Bear

Bear is the main cook and protector of the Forest Friends. He loves to eat and make delicious food, run and play in the forest, and take care of his friends, especially Kit.

Bear loves to laugh and make jokes, but sometimes he feels a deep sadness. He wants to understand the world and why there is so much pain in it.

Although he is incredibly friendly, you don’t want to be on Bear’s bad side. He is protective of his friends, and, well, he’s a bear.

When he’s not hanging out with his friends and going on adventures, you can find him climbing trees, trying out new recipes, and listening to his favorite band, Wilco.

Meet Doggie

Doggie is the joyful encourager of the forest friends. He is happy to be with his friends and just enjoys company. He loves laughing and playing and feels every emotion very deeply.

From the moment he wakes up, he is going full speed. He loves running and sniffing and marking his territory. With his his joy comes a lot of empathy he feels towards other. If the forest friends need someone to laugh with, they find Doggie. If they need someone to cry with, they find doggie.

When he’s not with his friends going on adventures, which is rare, you can find him collecting sticks to build forts, doing rock puzzles, and listening to his favorite band, Future Islands.

Meet Kit

Kit may be the smallest of the forest friends, but she is still in charge. She is charming, wild, and fierce and loves to be independent. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a soft spot for her friends.

Kit always wants to make her friends feel included and loves to take care of people.

When Kit is not being carried around on Bear’s back and going on adventures, you can find her making jewelry out of acorns and fixing her fur while listening to her favorite singer, Maggie Rogers.

Good but Grumpy Owl.png

Meet Good but Grumpy Owl

As his name explains, this owl is a good hearted fellow, but a little grumpy about things. He is very particular about what he likes and doesn't like, and is not the best animal to go on a vacation with.⠀
⠀
But, underneath his grumpy exterior, is a kind and compassionate heart, and a mind thinking deeply about the world.⠀
⠀
He's also the luckiest Owl in the world, since he is married to Wise and Beautiful Horsey. ⠀
On any given day, you can find him reading up in a tree, playing and writing music, or complaining about the music Wise and Beautiful Horsey is listening to.⠀
⠀
His favorite music is anything in No Depression Magazine and Under the Radar Magazine. ⠀

She loves the forest friends and is always ready to help them when they need it. Whether that's a shoulder to cry on, or just someone to lead a dance party, Wise and Beautiful Horsey is always there for them.⠀
⠀
It's hard to believe that she loves the Good but Grumpy Owl, but love doesn't always make sense. ⠀
⠀
Wise and Beautiful Horsey loves going on adventures with the forest friends, having a dance party, running through the forest and will listen to just about anything with a beat.⠀
